JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.

 

THE ROLE
  • Ensure the production of accurate and timely financial information and management accounts to support divisional and group requirement.
  • Lead the divisional planning and budgeting processes and monitoring thereof.
  • Hands on validation, reporting and monitoring of site inventory levels. Pro-actively challenging stakeholders when required.
  • Control and oversight of divisional balance sheet and working capital.
  • Monthly reporting and justification of actual site P&L performance.
  • Clear analysis of monthly turnover and margins.
  • Clear analysis of material scrap and other workorder variances.
  • Prepare flash reports.
  • Prepare and monitor monthly cost accruals.
  • Monthly reporting of management KPI’s.
  • Process of invoices and payments.
  • Key user and responsible for proper LN Infor Finance process transactions.
  • Support and assist the Head Office finance team where required.
THE CANDIDATE

Education and Qualification(s)

  • A recognised professional accountancy qualification. CIMA, ACCA, ACA.

Experience

  • At least three years working experience within a manufacturing company.
  • At least five years working experience within an accounting role.
CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Basic knowledge and affinity with manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with manufacturing accounting is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Paticularly Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills.
