Hadley Group will be showcasing its high-performance light gauge steel framing solutions for low rise residential and social housing on Stand F41 at Housing 2019, taking place on 25-27 June at Manchester Central.
The world leader in advanced cold rolled steel technology will be exhibiting at the highly anticipated housing event of the year, offering in-depth technical advice and practical product insight into how their light gauge steel framing solutions can benefit the likes of housing associations, local authorities, housebuilders and developers.
Visitors to stand F41 will be able to learn more about Hadley Group’s steel framing housing solution which offers a fast track and lightweight system, suitable for stick built or pre-panelised construction. Pre-panelised, stand-alone frame structures are a lighter and easier to erect alternative to steel or concrete primary frames, which in turn enables faster build turnaround times. The components are designed, detailed and manufactured at the company’s advanced production facility then delivered to site, ideal for housing schemes with high volume requirements and for projects where space is limited on site.
What’s more, Hadley Group’s capabilities extend to supplying a complete load bearing stand-alone structure, where the structures include roofs, walls, floors, door/window openings, bracing and external finishes. This makes the prefabricated structure suitable for low and medium rise buildings such as low occupancy residential homes, two storey houses and homes built for the social housing sector.
All of Hadley Group’s components for the modular housing market are available in customised lengths that can be adjusted as per project requirements which visitors can find out more about at the event. An expert team of engineers will be on hand at the event to discuss project requirements and offer advice on areas such as floor and wall build ups as well as on the company’s, complete detailing service. The team can provide guidance on steel stand-alone structures in terms of the best solutions available for optimum acoustic, fire and thermal requirements.
Looking forward to the event, Chris Holleron, Group Product Manager – Housing, said: “We are still seeing a slow uptake from authorities and planners which is the biggest challenge we are facing at the moment, but we are definitely seeing a growth in modular construction. Hadley Group can support housing associations, local authorities, housebuilders and developers through our ability to look at automation, our ability to adapt in the market and also the ability to deliver the volume that will be required in the future. By visiting our stand, visitors will be able to discover the benefits of light gauge steel framing solutions in housing and how we can support them with their next project.”
