New Business Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The New Business Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new busi-ness opportunities that support the growth objectives of Hadley Frame. The role requires pro-active lead generation, relationship building, and pipeline management, taking opportunities from initial contact through to confirmed order or contract award.

Working closely with the wider Hadley team, the New Business Manager will play a key role increasing market share, expanding the customer base, and strengthening relationships with both new and existing clients. The successful candidate will represent the company profession-ally at all times and contribute actively to the overall success of the New Business function and Hadley Frame.

 

THE ROLE
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within agreed market sectors.
  • Generate and qualify leads, progressing opportunities through the sales cycle to successful contract award.
  • Build, maintain, and develop relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and meetings to promote Hadley Frame products and services.
  • Own, manage, and report on a robust pipeline of projects and opportunities.
  • Ensure rapid response and effective follow-up of all sales enquiries and leads.
  • Utilise CRM and associated business systems to accurately record activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to generate new business opportunities and enhance company visibility.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of customer presentations, company events, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions.
  • Produce regular pipeline, activity, and performance reports in line with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Estimating, Technical, and Operations to support successful project delivery.
  • Participate in all required training and development activities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, including Health & Safety requirements.
  • Contribute positively to team objectives and act as an active member of the New Business team.

  • Acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing accounts.

  • Full UK Driving license is preferred, with any offences declared to the company.
