Hadley Group is pleased to confirm its involvement at the Offsite Construction Awards 2019. We are sponsoring the ‘Architect of the Year’ category, which highlights the hard work of architects when it comes to precision building design in offsite construction over the last year.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Steel Technology’ category for Project Sofia. Hadley Steel Framing provided a complete system from conception design through to installation using a pre-panellised offsite bolted frame in conjunction with a composite concrete decking floor system at the nine-storey, 599 bedroom student accommodation in Exeter.
Taking place on 5th March 2019 at the ExCeL in London, the awards showcase innovation, celebrate best practice and recognise overall expertise in offsite construction and manufacturing.
Offsite manufacturing removes much of the construction process from the construction site, leading to far-reaching and vital benefits. At Hadley Group, custom-made components can be constructed at our world class facilities before being shipped semi-finished or pre-fabricated to the construction site where they are ready for installation.
The Offsite Construction Awards recognises outstanding examples of modular and factory-based construction methods, products, systems and disciplines that increasingly strive to develop a sustainable, streamlined and cost-effective way to deliver a better built environment. We are looking forward to celebrating with over 500 industry pioneers, architects, contractors, engineers and clients at the annual, prestigious event.
